Ron Mason ellivated the Spartans to one of the elite programs in college hockey, going 635-270-69 in 23 seasons.. He was the winningest coach in college hockey, retiring with a 924-380-83 record during his 36 season career at Lake Superior State, Bowling Green and MSU. Mason led the Spartans to the 1986 NCAA national championship, seven CCHA regular-season titles and 10 league post-season tourney titles. Mason led the Spartans to the NCAA Tournament a record 19 times. [View Video]
