Michigan Wolverines Overvalued

Ohio State [HOLD]

This is the most expensive blue chip stock on the market and it’s only going up. This stock could go through the roof by November, if the Oklahoma game was any indicator. This stock is solid with the Buckeyes in a bye week.

Michigan State [BUY]

The Spartans are by far the most undervalued stock on the market and a “best buy” after their domination of Notre Dame. I’m buying as much Spartan stock as I can get my hands on.

Wisconsin [SELL]

The Buckeyes were a good value until their struggle last Saturday. My concern is the bottom could fall out with trips to MSU, Michigan, Iowa and home games with OSU and Nebraska on the horizon.

Iowa [BUY]

I know it sounds crazy after a loss to a FCS team, but I think North Dakota State is way better than any of the media will give them credit for. I look for the Hawks to bounce back in a big way at Rutgers this week and an opportunity to make some money here.

Nebraska [HOLD]

After a strong showing against Oregon I’m tempted to “buy” here, but the Huskers still have some things to work out defensively. With them going on the road for the first time at Northwestern, I want to see how this stock performs.

Michigan [SELL]

This is by far the most overvalued stock on the market. Colorado exposed some real issues on defense and the running game. I know it’s only Penn State, but the Wolverines are a train wreck waiting to happen. Their board of directors have been making a bunch of false claims to drive the stock up. Now is the time to cash out and reinvest elsewhere.

Maryland [BUY]

Maryland is looking solid defensively, and with a bye week this week and Purdue coming to town next this is a good investment. Purdue has been giving up over 500 yards per game.

Rutgers [SELL]

Rutgers hosts what most likely will be a very angry Iowa team on Saturday. Rutgers is looking like the doormat of the East Division. Good time to cash out.

Penn State [HOLD]

The Nittany Lions got back on track against Temple with a defense that is improving. Call me crazy but Dennis Franklin needs a big win to jump start his program and there is no better chance than this Saturday in the Ann Arbor. Penn State could catch the Wolverines reading their own press clippings.

Indiana [HOLD]

Coming off a bye week with two weeks to prepare, I like the odds of the Hoosiers winning out in the non-conference portion of their season against Wake Forest this weekend. This team will continue to get better.

Purdue [HOLD]

The Wolfpack is the perfect team for the Boilers to face coming off a bye week. Purdue is all offense and Nevada is NO defense. Should be a fun game for the Boiler faithful. This stock should climb.

Northwestern [SELL]

I love Pat Fitzgerald and what he is doing at Northwestern, but the Wildcats have their struggles and with a Nebraska team coming to Evanston I don’t feel real good about this one. The interesting matchup here is the Nebraska offense against a good Wildcat defense. The problem is the Northwestern offense.

Minnesota [BUY]

With the Gopher averaging over 400 yards of offense, and the Rams giving up over 400 yards per game, Minnesota will send Colorado State packing early. This Gopher team could be the surprise in the West. Definitely a good bye at this time.

Illinois [SELL]

I know the Illini have a bye this week, but with a trip to Lincoln coming up I’m thinking they won’t be ready for the Husker with even three weeks to prepare. I really liked the Illini stock at the beginning of the season, but at 1-2 they have not performed as expected. Now is probably the time to get out, although I may be sorry later.
